Swift River Medical Associates mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis. We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members.

We are a full-service medical practice of dedicated, experienced physicians and physician assistants who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life. Our practitioners believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical state possible

Walk in Urgent Care

Early morning urgent care for our established patients only,

You must arrive between 8:00 - 8:15 am, Monday through Friday. Due to limited resources, we can only see a certain number of patients. If we can't see you as a walk in, we will work to fit you in with an urgent visit that day.

If you have a cough or sore throat, once you arrive, call the office from your vehicle after 8:00 am to register, do not come into the office. This is a walk-in urgent care for those quick sick visits before school or work - patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

We are proud to partner with Baystate Reference Labs with a full service lab on the second floor of our building and with ATI in the building next door, offering a full range of physical and occupational therapies.

Directions to our office

We are across from Checkers & Chubby Checkers, off Route 202, at 35 Bridge St in Belchertown:

From the center of Belchertown: At the lights in the center of town (near Town Hall), proceed South on Route 202 (towards Granby). At the flashing yellow light, take a right onto Front Street and an immediate right onto Bridge Street (Hulmes Transportation is on the corner). We are the last grey building on your left.

From Granby, Ludlow, South Hadley: Proceed North on Route 202 (towards center of Belchertown). After you pass the Police Station and the schools, you will come to a flashing yellow light. Take a left onto Front Street and an immediate right onto Bridge Street (Hulmes Transportation is on the corner). We are the last grey building on your left.

From Palmer/Three Rivers: Proceed on Route 181 into the center of Belchertown. Turn left down Route 202 South (towards Granby). At the flashing yellow light, take a right onto Front Street and an immediate right onto Bridge Street (Hulmes Transportation is on the corner). We are the last grey building on your left.
